Andover Green and Newton recreation Soccer and Highland travel soccer club are combining their programs to create one centralized Soccer club, Newton United. The new club will be fully operational for the fall 2016 season. With this merger there will be a greater availability of fields, opponents, equipment, trainers and soccer related experiences. The larger pool of players will create a more organized, comprehensive and enjoyable soccer experience. Newton United will provide ...travel opportunities for players and or teams interested in moving to the next level. Players will be able to seamlessly transition from recreation to travel level and remain within our community. This will help us to continue to foster development of players locally so that they are prepared to compete at the highest level in the future. Combining programs will guarantee the success of our local soccer community. The much larger player pool will provide more flexibility and continuity between the three towns. This reorganization will create the consistency, cohesion and unity needed to build a true soccer community.
